インドの学校訪問（総集編）
2026年3月23日より4月11日まで、琉球銀行の助成金を活用して、交流のネットワークを広げるためインドの学校を訪問してきました。
From March 23 to April 11, 2026, I visited schools in India using a grant from Bank of the Ryukyus to expand our communication network for children.
インドの学校とのつながりが薄かったので、今回直接学校を訪問することができ、足がかりが出来たと思っています。
簡単に報告します。
Since we had limited connections with schools in India, I believe this direct visit has given us a foothold.
Here's a brief report.
＜デリー Delhi＞
ニューデリーは、相変わらず忙しいところです。（これは、駅前の写真）
New Delhi is always a busy place.
今回は、ニューデリーの教育局を訪問しました。
インドにはCBSE（Central Board of Secondary Education 中央中等教育委員会）という組織があり、私立学校も含む多くの学校がその管理下にあるようです。ある学校を訪ねたところ、まずこちらの許可が必要であるということだったので、訪ねました。
This time, I visited the Education Department in New Delhi.
India has an organization called the CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education), and it seems that many schools, including private schools, are under its management. When I visited a particular school, I was told that I needed their permission first, so I went to see them.
運よく、担当部署のDirectorにお会いでき、我々の活動について簡単に説明し、協力を依頼しました。
内容に興味を持っていただいたようで、正式な提案書が届いたうえで検討するということでした。場合によっては、ニューデリー全域が対象になるような。
Fortunately, I was able to meet the Director of the responsible department, briefly explained our activities, and requested their cooperation. It seemed that they were interested in the content, and they said they would consider it once a formal proposal had been submitted. Depending on the situation, it could potentially cover the entire area of New Delhi...
＜ウダイプール Udaipur＞
次に、ウダイプールに向かいました。
ウダイプールは、ラジャスタン州に属しますが、日本ではあまり知られていないと思います。ラジャスタンではジャイプールが有名です。ただ、ここは素晴らしい観光地です。特に、王宮周りの景色は本当に美しい。お勧めします。
Next, I headed to Udaipur.
Udaipur is located in Rajasthan, but I think it's not very well known in Japan. Jaipur is more famous in Rajasthan. However, Udaipur is a wonderful tourist destination. In particular, the scenery around the royal palace is truly beautiful. I highly recommend it.
ウダイプールでは、「Royal Institute of Competition」を訪問しました。
EF Polymer株式会社の共同設立者で、インド支社の代表の一人であるAnkitさんの紹介です。
わざわざ空港から出迎えてくれました。
In Udaipur, I visited the 'Royal Institute of Competition.'
It was introduced by Mr. Ankit, a co-founder of EF Polymer Corporation and one of the representatives of the India branch.
They welcomed me at the airport.
理事長に学校を案内して頂き、集まってくれた生徒に簡単に我々のプログラムを紹介しました。
The director gave us a tour of the school, and I briefly introduced our program to the students who had gathered.
今後、「地球ミーティング」に参加して頂く予定です。
We will invite this school to the next "Global Communication" program.
ウダイプールでは、もう一つ大事な訪問先がありました。EF Polymer株式会社です。
EF Polymerの共同設立者で、インド支社の代表の一人であるAnkitさんが、今回本当に世話をしてくれました。先の「小学生地球ミーティング」で「Shree Kalyan Gurukul Academy」が参加してくれたのも、ひとえにAnkitさんのおかげです。
In Udaipur, there was another important place to visit: EF Polymer Co., Ltd.
Mr. Ankit, the co-founder of EF Polymer and one of the heads of the India branch, really took care of me this time. The reason "Shree Kalyan Gurukul Academy" was able to participate in the last program was entirely thanks to him.
EF Polymer株式会社は、沖縄科学技術大学院大学（OIST）発のスタートアップ企業で、既に世界に進出しています。また、その中心はインド系の人々です。そこで、インドとのつながりを求めてOISTにある事務所を訪ねたのが始まりでした。共同設立者のAnkitさんが我々の事業に興味を持っていただき、協力を申し出てくれたわけです。
そのような縁を通して、今回実際にインドの事務所を訪ねることが出来ました。
EF Polymer Co., Ltd. is a startup company that originated at the Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology (OIST) and has already expanded globally. Furthermore, a significant portion of its workforce is of Indian people. Therefore, seeking connections with India, I visited their office at OIST, which was the beginning of our relationship. Co-founder Mr. Ankit showed interest in our program and offered his cooperation.
Through this connection, I was finally able to visit their office in India.
また、スタッフのお二人が、わざわざ時間を作ってくれて、ウダイプールの街を案内してくれました。
本当にありがとうございました。

＜ジャイプール Jaipur＞
次に、ジャイプールに向かいました。
ジャイプールは、ラジャスタン州に属し、「ピンクシティー」として日本でも有名です。ただし、今回は車で1時間以上南に下った「Shree Kalyan Gurukul Academy」の訪問が目的だったので、町を観光する時間はありませんでした。
Next, we headed to Jaipur.
Jaipur is located in Rajasthan and is famous in Japan as the "Pink City." However, our purpose this time was to visit the "Shree Kalyan Gurukul Academy," which is more than an hour's drive south, so we didn't have time to sightsee in the city.
ところが今回、Ankitさんの実家を訪問することができ、しかも一晩お世話になることになりました。素晴らしい経験です。
However, this time I was able to visit Mr. Ankit home and even stay overnight with them. It was a wonderful experience.
手作りの料理も振る舞っていただき、インドの家庭を体験する貴重な機会となりました。
I was treated to homemade dishes, which provided a valuable opportunity to experience life in an Indian family.
翌日、「Shree Kalyan Gurukul Academy」を訪問しました。Ankitさんの実家から割と近いとことにあります。
The next day, we visited "Shree Kalyan Gurukul Academy," which is located relatively close to Mr. Ankit's family home.
校庭に歓迎の絵が描かれていました。
A welcome picture was painted on the school grounds.
待ちかねたような、大歓迎です！
It was a very warm welcome!
歓迎式典では、交流を担当して頂いた、Aditiさんが司会を務めてくれました。
At the welcome ceremony, Ms. Aditi, who was in charge of the interaction, served as the host.
いくつもの、素晴らしい伝統舞踊を披露してくれました。子供たちは、学校で習うようです。
Students performed many wonderful traditional dances. It seems the children learn them at school.
我々の活動についても、こども達に向けて簡単に紹介しました。
I also briefly introduced our programs to the children.
学校の理事長とも、今後の協力について確認したところです。
I have confirmed with the school's director about future cooperation.
帰り際に、窓から子供たちが手を振ってくれました。本当に素晴らしい学校訪問となりました。
As we were leaving, the children waved to us from the window. It was truly a wonderful school visit.
＜バラナシ Varanasi＞
次に、バラナシに向かいました。
バラナシは、ガンジス河に面する、ヒンドゥー教徒にとっての神聖なる場所です。
Next, I headed to Varanasi.
Varanasi is a sacred place for Hindus, situated on the banks of the Ganges River.
ガンジス河沿いに、延々とガート（沐浴場）が続きます。全て石を敷き詰めてあります。
Along the Ganges River, ghats (bathing steps) continue endlessly. All of them are paved with stones.
夜には、毎晩、壮麗な儀式が行われます。
Every night, a magnificent ceremony takes place.
そのバラナシで、いくつかの学校を回りました。
I visited some schools in Varanasi.
その中で、「Little Flower House」の校長先生と話す機会があり、交流ネットワークへの参加を呼び掛けたところです。
Among them, I had the opportunity to speak with the principal of 'Little Flower House' and invited them to participate in our communication network.
今回のインド訪問で、インドの学校とのつながりも出来てきたので、交流ネットワークがより拡大していくものと思われます。
This visit to India has allowed us to establish connections with schools there, and we expect our communicaton network to expand even further.
また、EF Polymer株式会社のAnkitさんとの協力関係がより深まったので、今後より発展したプログラムを検討しているところです。
Also, as the cooperative relationship with Mr. Ankit has deepened, we are now considering more advanced programs for the future.
インド料理の様々な香辛料に押され、最後は体調を崩してしまいましたが、今回のインド訪問は大きな成果になったものと確信します。
Although I ended up feeling unwell due to the overwhelming array of spices in Indian cuisine, I am confident that this visit to India was a great success.
